This is Sri Lanka done properly. Starting in Negombo, the route climbs north to Anuradhapura — Sri Lanka's ancient first capital — before sweeping south through Sigiriya's iconic rock fortress and the cool highlands of Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, and Ella. From there, descend to Yala for leopard safaris, then unwind along the south coast at Hiriketiya, Mirissa, Unawatuna, and Bentota before the loop back to Negombo. With 20 or more days, you have time to actually stay, explore, and breathe.
