This plan threads together three of Sri Lanka's most celebrated circuits in one extended loop. Begin with the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa's royal ruins, then head east to Trincomalee's beaches and Passekudah's calm turquoise bay. Chase waves at Arugam Bay, go on leopard safaris in Yala, and wind up through the tea estates of Ella and Nuwara Eliya.
